Pokaždé, když nahraju fotky z foťáku do počítače (je to velký svátek, s dítětem v okolí to prostě nejde), tak mám pak potíž vybrat, které hned zveřejnit a co napsat nejdřív. Všechno naráz nelze, ale dnes to bude úplně jiné - ze zahrádky!
Po pravdě, je to všechno manželova práce, moje asi tak z 2%, poněvadž ji letos celou založil na hlušině po stavbě a roste mu to krásně. Já jen občas vytrhnu něco, co se mi nelíbí, a s Ronjou zaléváme dětskými konvičkami:-)
Už jsme sklidili brzké jarní plodiny - ředkvičky, saláty (ty jdou furt), kedlubny, teď máme cukety, Hokaido dýně, špenát (ten už vlastně vykvetl) a brokolici (za už taky kvete) a začínají rajčata a patizony. Na první sezonu skvělé! A k tomu tu jsou bylinky, třeba petržel jde u jahod jak divá, nebo bazalka pod rajčaty, no a ty jahody, které asi nikdy nedozrají úplně, protože je malá sezobe jen co zrůžoví.
A pak máme i ozdobné květiny, i když na to vůbec nejsme, ale sousedky a sousedi tu jsou tak hodní, že se zjara podělili o sazeničky afrikánů, pivoňek a jakýchsi cinií. My sami pěstujeme z hezkých rostlin zištně jen to, co nese užitek - měsíček a slunečnici:-)
Takže tady jsou výsledky píle mého muže a vlivů přírody, některé s popisky, co se k čemu použije:
Every time I download the pics from the camera to the computer (not too often as it cannot be done with the kid around), I have a hard time deciding what to write and upload now and what later - there is too much to share now! But this time will be completely different - from the garden.
It is actually all my husband´s work - he started it this year from nothing and it is looking rather well already, my share of work is about 2%, I sometimes plug out something I don´t like or we use tiny watering cans with Ronja and water the plants from time to time.
We have already picked the early veggies - radishes, salads (still growing more), kohlrabis, now we are enjoying zuchini, broccoli and spinach (both in full bloom now I am afraid:-), the tomatoes and petit pans are beginning to ripe. Not bad for a first season! Then there are herbs, e.g. the parsley grows like mad near strawberries, and the basil loves the company of tomatoes. Only the strawberries nevere make it to full ripeness because Ronja picks them as soon as they turn only slightly pink.
We also have some decorative flowers, despite the fact that we don´t really fancy them. Our neighbours here have been so kind and generous to share many seedlings of the African Marigolds, some sort of colored daisies and peonies. We are only growing pretty things that are practical for something - calendulas and sunflowers:-)
